Now that The Doctor is part of my everyday life, things are different.
No but, jokes aside, Doctor Who does put in perspective how small we are in the scope of the universe. There isn't that much of a justification to pressure and overwork oneself to "succeed" (big air quotes... as huge as.. a... snorlax) to the point of not enjoying life because really in the end, nothing we currently do "will disturb the peace on distant stars" (remember that song?!)
